In the Fiji Sun there is a reference to the passing of Dick Northcott. I remember him at Lelean Memorial School and at Dudley and then he had a long stint at the USP. I last met him at a church in Melbourne the week that Rev Doug Fullerton passed away.

Online tributes
flowed yesterday for former university lecturer Richard Northcott, who passed
away last weekend. Mr Northcott spent 52 years working in Fiji, 30 of them at
the University of the South Pacific (USP). Daughter Mary Leano, posting on her Facebook page, expressed appreciation for messages of support for the Northcott
family. In an email to the Fiji Sun, she also expressed her gratitude for the editorial tribute to her late
father, who passed away last Saturday, at the age of 90.
