Here are some photos from last night - the One Hundred Nights - at Geelong in remembrance of Rev Peceli Ratawa. We had a ceremony to lift the tabu, devotions led by Rev Ikani Vaitohi and Ateca Ratawa, hymn singing, yaqona drinking, a feast - thank you to the boys who made the lovo and the girls and women who prepared so many delicious dishes. Some of us were inside the house, many others outside with a tent and lights. Earlier in the afternoon a few of us went to the cemetery and placed a new masi on Peceli's grave. Thank you to all who helped make the occasion significant especially to Ateca who came from Fiji and Asena from New Zealand and Bibi's family from Sydney.
