The provisional results for the Fiji election showed an outstanding result for Fiji First, then Sodelpha, then Federation Party (which I liked) and poor old Labour really struggled. Others had minimal results. So it looks like the people have spoken and we have to accept that. Sodelpha I think made the mistake of concentrating too much on cultural issues and not bread and butter issues. Of course - where's the money - that is the question for the winners - how to achieve those promises.
