Best dressed award?

from w
I wonder who would win the best dressed award for Fiji in recent times? Of course a bright bula shirt doesn't mean the person wearing it is jolly and deliriously happy, nor does a neatly pressed suit mean the wearer is brainy. And why do men think they need to wear conservative western-style suits with boring colours? Of course the men's sulu does look nice with sandals and good legs.
Perhaps the prize should actually be given to the hardworking woman behind the scene who thumps the clothes on the washboard clean and irons them to keep their men tidy!

In Hawaii, the only men with ties are either Bankers, Ministers, or Lawyers. I was always in an "Aloha" (bula) shirt. My tux only came out for orchestra performances.

Here's to women who do the work and keep their men presentable - whatever they wear.

(Dare I tell that in our house, it is I who does the laundry?).

I was really having a go at the Interim PM who has a large wardrobe for every occasion and someone has to iron all those naval costumes!
I suppose you wore a casual sulu a lot, (and we still have dozens of them here in Oz) but I do think the formal men's sulu is excellent if the guy as good legs!
