A very old photo from Lelean Memorial School
from w
Does anyone recognize any of the meke dancers from this photo taken many years ago at Lelean Memorial School at their 21st birthday celebration. Perhaps in 1964?
The boys are performing a vakamalolo sitting dance and a teacher, Dau Autiko, is in the middle.

Yas I can see my Father in the center of the meke.
Bula vinaka Mika,
So your Dad is Master Dau Autiko, and what a lovely man! He was a splendid teacher at Lelean and on that occasion of the 21st birthday at Lelean he taught the meke to the students. I taught art at Lelean at that time. Isa, I remember a great sadness to the family one time.
W.
